If you're on vacation with your kids and want to explore your inner child as a child, the Mississippi Children's Museum is a great place. The Museum Blvd in Jackson offers fun for all ages with interactive exhibits and educational tools. In fact, Mississippi is full of educational attractions that are so much fun that those of you who are children don't even realize that you are children learning.
It also has a fantastic playground and is home to the Mississippi Museum of Natural History as well as many other attractions in the surrounding city. It offers great attractions and is also a great place for family fun and fun for children of all ages, not just children.

Among the best things we did in Jackson over the weekend were hiking in LeFleur Bluff State Park and exploring the Old Capitol Museum. A unique trip to the Mississippi Museum of Art was one of my favorite romantic things I did in and around Jackson.

The museum was one of my favorite places in the whole of Jackson and a great place for a romantic date night.

Spend an afternoon or full day in Mayes Falls National Park, one of the most beautiful national parks in Mississippi. Nature lovers can take a hike, walk through the Mississippi Petrified Forest, fish or canoe at Mayes Lake, canoe down the river or walk along the Missouri River and its trails.

If you have the opportunity to visit this historic cemetery like so many other tourists, you will have a beautiful view of the Mississippi and the historic buildings and monuments of the city.
